Sunday Focus: Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head

When BJ Thomas encountered raindrops, he did this: “So I just did me some talking to the sun / And I said I didn’t like the way he got things done.” You’ve got to go to the folks in charge and talk some truth to power. That’s the way to do it. “‘Cause I’m never gonna stop the rain by complaining.”

” it won’t be long,” BJ Thomas sings to us. “Till happiness steps up to greet me.” And what is this Sunday’s message? The raindrops have been falling on our heads for awhile now, and if enough folks keep on talking to the Sun—well maybe be there might be some light ahead. Thank you, Christmas Cactus, for this message of hope.
